My plan is going to finish in a few days and I've been with Optus for 5-6 years. I spend around $80-$100 a month so I thought I might get a good deal again by calling this number. Exactly as above, call the normal number and say you want disconnections, or ask the voice recognition for disconnections. They will put you through to the retention Free optus sport; Free entertainment pack; I currebly pay $70 due to retention discount. Earlier in the year I called optus to inquire about NBN and they put me to the NBN team (very different to deal with compared to cable team whom are international, i.e easier to negotiate with) The inquiry into the proposed data retention scheme continues today.
